Week of October 16th and MORE!!! Please READ

Tuesday, (October 17th) Meet at EMS.  Release times are different.  WMS/CMS 3:20 and EMS 3:45. The meet starts at 4:30.  Race times: 8th 4:50 7th 5:30.

PLEASE bring $5 for the End of the Season party (Oct. 23rd). We will have a Carb Up party with Pasta and Bread (from Davanni's).  We welcome anything to share with the group (package of cookies, salad...) .

Our last meet and last day of XC is Tuesday, October 24.  The meet is at Hopkin's West Middle School, 3830 Baker Road, Minnetonka.  We will collect uniform tops at the end of the races. There is a change in the Race Schedule:  8th Grade Girls 4:00 and 7th Grade Girls 4:40

MEA Practice Schedule

It is very important to run over MEA! If you do not, the race on Tuesday will be tough. Our middle school team will not be having official practice but you are welcome to join the high school team for their MEA practice schedule (check Dave’s emails). You can ask a parent to run with you or ride a bike next to you to keep you company.  You can also call a teammate if you are in town. Running is more fun when you have company!

Thursday Oct 19

• Practice at WHS 8:30

• On own: Run 40-60 min 6-8 strides

Friday Oct 20

• No High School Practice

• On own: Run 30-35 min 6-8 strides

Saturday Oct 21

• Practice at WHS at 8:30am

• On own: Run 40-45 min 6-8 strides

Sunday Oct 22

• Rest

Week of October 10th

The weather is changing.  Please make sure your daughter has extra layers.

Tuesday, October 10th-meet at Freeman Park. Release times are EMS 2:30 and CMS/WMS 2:45.  Race times are 8th grade 4:20 and 7th grade 5:00.

FYI: This week and next we have conferences at our schools. We have arranged our schedule so that one of us is able to be at practice and meets. 

Thank you for all your support.  Please make sure to let us know if your child is going to miss practice and if they are leaving the meet with you or another family (note required).

Week of October 2nd

We had a nice turnout of runners at Willmar.  Way to go girls!!  

Pretty easy week this week.  We have a meet on Thursday at Pamela Park in Edina. Students will be released from class at: WMS 2:30 EMS 2:45 CMS 2:45.  Race times are 4:20 for 8th Girls and 5:00 for 7th Girls.

FRIDAY, October 6th we are running to McDonald's.  It's tradition!  Bring a few dollars to buy ice cream, french fries, or whatever you would like.

Week of September 25th

We had five girls race in the hot humid temperatures on Saturday.  It was an accomplishment to be out there.  Great job middle schoolers!!!

Apparel has arrived. The girls will receive their items on Monday.  I have an update on pictures...if you think you ordered and did not receive pictures or you would like to order you can contact Kemmetmueller Photography at 952-473-1242.  All the pictures were passed out.  

This week we have two meets.  On Thursday, 9/28, we have a middle school meet at Basset Creek. Students will be released at WMS at 2:30 and EMS/CMS at 2:45.  Race times: 8th grade girls 4:20 and 7th grade girls 5:00.  We would like to have as many girls attend Saturday's 9/30 meet in Willmar.  The meet starts at 1:00 and is a rolling start (when one race finishes the next one starts). Order of events: Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys, JV Girls, JV Boys (5000 meters), Middle School Girls, Middle School Boys (3000 meters).  The girls will have the option to race the 5000 or the 3000.  Bus is set to leave at 9:00 or 9:30 from WHS. We will let the girls know when that is finalized.
