Week Seven Update

To start, Coach Sieracki & I were so PROUD & IMPRESSED by our girls’ performance on Saturday. Despite the unfavorable weather conditions and the unexpected change to a 5k race, our girls showed up with a positive attitude and were willing to challenge themselves to go the extra mile (literally). This is what cross country is all about! We continue to be blown away by the dedication & positive sportsmanship demonstrated in our athletes.

As we look ahead for the week, we are keeping our fingers crossed that we have nothing but sunshine & clear skies! Here’s what we having coming up…

  • Middle School Meet

    Date: Thursday, September 26 @ 4 PM

    Location: Bassett Creek Golf Course - 5524 29th Ave N, Crystal, MN 55422

    Pickup/Dismissal Times:

    • WMS out 2:30; depart 2:40

    • MS out 2:45; depart 2:55

    • CMS out 2:45; depart 2:55

    • Please note there will be a bus returning to Central following the race.

    Race Times:

    8th Grade Girls- 4:20

    7th Grade Girls - 5:00

  • Wilmar Invitational

    Date: Saturday, September 28

    Location: Eagle Creek Golf Course - 1000 26th Ave NE, Willmar, MN 56201

    Arrival Time: Bus leaves WHS Athletic Entrance @ 10 am. Please arrive at 9:45 for attendance.

    Race Times: Rolling Race Schedule at 1 PM

    Once again, we have a road trip on our hands! Please make sure your athletes arrive with plenty of water, snacks, and anything to keep them occupied for the long bus ride!

Weekly Update

Hello middle school runners & families! We are back with the update for this upcoming week! This is a busy week for us as we have two meets this week!

We will be heading back to Eden Prairie on Thursday. This meet will be a different course than the one we did in EP this past Saturday. It will be held at Eden Prairie Central Middle School. The race starts at 4 pm. Athletes from West will be dismissed from class @ 2:30, and athletes from Central & East will be dismissed from class @ 2:45. Busses will depart 10 minutes after dismissal times..

This Saturday we will be competing in the MIlaca Mega Meet. The address for this race is Stones Throw Golf Course - 15679 Central Ave, Milaca, MN 56353. The bus will leave from the HS athletic entrance at 7:45 am. Runners are expected to be there by 7:30 for attendance. The times for the races are as follows:

10:15 AM 8th Grade - 2 mile

10:45 AM 7th Grade - 2 mile

11:15 AM 9th Grade - 5k

11:45 AM 10th Grade - 5k

12:45 PM Varsity (7) Girls - 5k

2:15 PM 11 & 12th Grade JV Girls - 5k

 Please note that the bus ride there will be a bit of a road trip! Make sure your runners are bringing water and snacks along with them. If your child is not able to make a meet, please make sure they are in contact with us.

Weekly Update

Hello middle school runners & families!

We are back with the latest updates for the week:

  • We will be running in the Eden Prairie Metro Invitational this Saturday, September 14. Any athletes competing in the 5K will have their race at 10:00. Athletes competing in the 2 mile race will start at 11:55. Awards will follow the final race.

  • Busses will depart from the high school athletic entrance at 8:15 am. Please make sure your runners are there at 8 for attendance.

  • Parents must check out their child with Coach Sieracki or Coach Koller before leaving the race. It is crucial that we know the whereabouts of our athletes.

  • If any runner still needs a uniform, your daughter must let one of the coaches know before Wednesday.

First Week of School!

Hello middle school runners & families!

Now that school is back in session, we have a few important reminders for you!

  • Practice from here on out will be held @ Central Middle School. Practice runs from 4:15 - 5:30. We will dismiss girls early who need to catch the late bus. The late bus will depart from CMS at 5:30.

  • We do not have any meets this week, just practice!

  • Practice will continue to run Monday - Friday. If your daughter cannot attend, please make sure your daughter sends us an email to let us know.
