Congratulations to the girls Track & Field team for their win at True Team State. The boys team secured their sixth win in a row continuing the tradition. The meet started with a 2nd place finish by Keiley, Emelia, Julia, and Grace. in the 4 x 8.
The next distance event was the 1600 as we got wire to wire performances from Emma and Carol, new all-time bests. Lauren ran a season best taking 10th, great points.
The first heat started well with Emma chasing Halbmeier from Tonka with a new all-time best of 2:15. The next heat was a blow-out for Carol, with nobody to chase. The 3rd heat Naomi ran for 2nd all alone, again good performance but tough with no one to run with. We moved up to 2nd in the team standings after big points gained in the 800.
Rhynn with the big win taking control of the race, Brooke running fantastic taking 4th, and Carmen running 10th sealed the team championship for us!
